How to Register a Domain Name on Nairahost
Your domain name is your online identity. It is what people type into their browser to reach your website, and it is also used for your business email addresses. At Nairahost, we make it easy for you to register and manage your domains in Nigeria with flexible pricing and instant activation after payment.
Step 1: Visit the Domain Search Page
Start by going to the Nairahost domain search and pricing page. From there you can search for your preferred name and view pricing for different extensions (TLDs) like .com, .net, .ng, and more.
Step 2: Search for Your Preferred Domain
In the domain search box, type the name you want to register, for example:
mybrand.commybusiness.com.ngmyshop.ng
Click the search button and the system will check if the domain is available. If it is available, you will see an option to add it to your cart. If it is already taken, you can try a variation or a different extension.
Step 3: Review Domain Pricing
Nairahost offers competitive pricing on popular domain extensions. For example (prices may change over time, always confirm on the pricing page):
- .com – around ₦17,500 per year
- .net – around ₦33,000 per year
- .com.ng – around ₦7,500 per year
- .ng – around ₦15,900 per year
- .org – around ₦21,000 per year
Some Nigerian (.ng) and .com.ng extensions are particularly affordable for local brands and businesses. You can also see renewal, transfer, grace period and redemption information for each extension.
Step 4: Add the Domain to Your Cart
Once you see that your desired domain is available, click on Add to Cart. You can add multiple domains if you want to protect your brand across different extensions, such as:
mybrand.commybrand.com.ngmybrand.ng
When you are done, click on the cart icon or the View Cart button to proceed to checkout.
