30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We're confident you'll love our Nigerian web hosting services. If you're not satisfied, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all shared hosting plans.

Non-Refundable Services

The following services and fees are NOT eligible for refunds:

Domain Services
  • Domain registrations (.com, .com.ng, .ng, etc.)
  • Domain transfers
  • Domain renewals
  • Domain privacy protection
Other Services
  • SSL certificates
  • Dedicated servers
  • VPS hosting (after 7 days)
  • Custom development work
  • Migration services
  • Setup fees
Domain Registrations: Once a domain is registered, it cannot be refunded as we incur non-recoverable costs from the domain registry. This is an industry-wide policy.

Reseller & Managed Hosting Refunds

Reseller Hosting:

14-day money-back guarantee

  • Must request within 14 days of initial purchase
  • Only applies to first-time customers
  • Renewals are not refundable
Managed Hosting:

30-day money-back guarantee

  • Applies to new Managed Hosting accounts
  • Custom configurations may affect eligibility
  • Setup fees are non-refundable

Service Cancellation

You can cancel your services at any time from your client area. Please note:

  • No Automatic Refunds: Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. You must specifically request a refund within the guarantee period.
  • Service Access: Your services will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, even after cancellation.
  • Data Backup: Ensure you download all your data before cancellation. We are not responsible for data retrieval after account termination.
  • Reactivation: Cancelled accounts may be subject to reactivation fees.

Pro-Rated Refunds

We do NOT offer pro-rated refunds for:

  • Mid-cycle cancellations
  • Unused portions of billing periods
  • Service downgrades
  • Seasonal or promotional pricing

Exception: In cases of extended service outages (beyond our SLA), pro-rated credits may be issued at our discretion.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Important: Please contact us BEFORE initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks result in immediate account suspension and may incur dispute fees.

If you have a billing dispute:

  1. Email sales@nairahost.com.ng with details
  2. Allow 24-48 hours for our billing team to investigate
  3. We'll work with you to resolve the issue fairly

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and legal action under Nigerian law.

Refund Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refund requests if:

  • You've violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Your account was terminated for abuse (spam, malware, etc.)
  • You've requested multiple refunds in the past (pattern of abuse)
  • The refund request is made in bad faith
  • You've exceeded resource limits or bandwidth allowances

Promotional & Discounted Services

Special promotional offers and discounted services are subject to standard refund policies with the following conditions:

  • Refunds are calculated based on the actual amount paid, not the regular price
  • Free trial periods do not extend the money-back guarantee window
  • Limited-time offers may have modified refund terms (stated at time of purchase)
  • Promo codes and coupons are non-refundable

Consumer Protection (Nigerian Law)

This refund policy complies with Nigerian consumer protection laws. Your statutory rights as a Nigerian consumer are not affected by this policy.

For disputes that cannot be resolved through our standard refund process, you may contact the Nigerian Consumer Protection Council (CPC) or seek resolution through Nigerian courts.
